Entry Rules
All photos must be shot between the submission start and end dates, unless otherwise specified.
No AI-generated images are allowed.
Do not upload files that are not your own and for which you do not have the right to reproduce or redistribute under applicable copyright laws.
Submitted photo files must be in JPEG file format no larger than 10 MB in size. The file must contain the embedded camera EXIF data showing the date shot.
Note: PollUnit resizes the longer side of images to 1920 pixels for fullscreen display. There is no advantage to submitting images with higher resolution.
Do not put your name or any personal identifying information on an entry.
Do not add borders around an image, unless otherwise specified.
Normal photo editing is allowed, including cloning or healing techniques to remove minor distractions, such as utility wires, litter, sensor dust, etc. However, you may not add, remove or replace major elements of the scene or subject, e.g., sky replacement.
Composite images are allowed that combine multiple exposures of a subject or scene taken on the same date and shot without changing the camera position or location, e.g., focus stacked images, time lapse images, HDR images and panoramic images.
Note: Submitting photos to these challenges does not grant permission to entity or person to use, copy or distribute your images for any other purpose.
Voting Rules
The 3-day voting period begins at the end of the submission period.
Photos are judged by the members. Members may vote whether they submitted an entry or not.
Voters must rate all entries (except their own). If a voter fails to do so, their entry (if any), their votes, and their comments will be deleted out of fairness to others.
Photos shall be rated on a 1-10 star scale (where 10 is the best) relative to an ideal standard (not relative to other entries). Consider the technical merit, artistic merit and representation of the challenge theme, if any. The photo with the highest average rating will be declared the winner.
Please read the Judging Guide before voting.
